Frequently asked questions
You can either come directly to our branch and rent a bike on the spot or you can reserve online. The online reservation is very easy and allows you to secure your desired bike in advance.
We rent out our bikes and e-bikes for a maximum of 1 month. However, we can also adjust the duration for special occasions.
There are no limits here. Due to the high demand, the number of bicycles and e-bikes is partly limited.
You can return the bikes at any time. Just note our opening hours in the footer.
If you return the bike later than planned, an additional charge may apply. Please inform us in advance if you need to keep the bike longer than agreed.
No, no deposit is required.
We accept various methods of payment, including cash and EC card (for personal collection at our store in Illertissen) as well as PayPal credit card (VISA & MasterCard) and direct debit for online reservations.
Yes, insurance is automatically included with all our rented bikes. You are liable for damages with a maximum own contribution of 100,-€. Excluded are intentional or grossly negligent damages to the rental object. In case of theft, the insurance only applies to a fixed object in a locked condition. Bikes World therefore provides bicycle locks for rent free of charge.
